We recently undertook a project for Manchester-based construction company, Domis, on a development in Salford.

As well as a installing a variety of boundary railings and balustrades, we were tasked with supplying and installing an automated main entrance gate.

The design for the automated gate installation was finalised by the Architect for this development. Site meetings were also carried out to establish the civil and electrical requirements for the gate.

The automated gate installation used a HIAB, lifting the gate into position onto the sliding track, mounted on a concrete plinth. We selected a BFT Deimos Ultra 600 motor for this gate, due to the weight and frequency of use of this gate. The gate also utilises a remote fob entry and exit system, creating a simple, easy-to-use method for all users.

Everybody at Georgian Gates were delighted with the finished look of these automated gates. We can’t wait for our next opportunity to work with Domis!
