We were approached by Lovell Partnerships to assist them with the design, manufacture and installation of a 3-story external walkway to an apartment block on their Gateway development in Miles Platting.

The client had no previous experience of including this type of external steel walkway on previous schemes. As such, a lot of time went into working through the design with their Engineers and Designers.

The structure was installed on site using cranes and boom lifts, and secured back into the building’s internal steelwork. After installation, all steelwork was treated and coated with a Sherwin-Williams fire-resistant application before being finished in a anthracite grey topcoat. Frameless glass balustrade panels and vertical aluminium fins completed the walkway structure.

We were delighted with the outcome of the finished project and hope to assist Lovell Partnerships any way we can on future schemes.
